This weekend was really a well spent one I should say.... Giving joy to others and enjoying myself... had gone for a small trek (or camping trip as a few of my friends now call it!!).... with a real large group... 45 people!! was fun...a few new people, few people who became new friends, and of course a few old friends..!! This time it was different for me because I belonged to no particular group.. i was there with everyone..(well almost!!:-D) there i realised what the word pursuit of happiness meant.. well you can be happy only if keep wanting to be happy...you can never say i m happy and i wish for nothing more!! and how every body's definitions of happiness are different from each other...!!! 
while a few took joy in just sitting in the bus and watching the road(i still remember J's "Wow what a road!"), few others enjoyed singing in their intolerable voices...some were trying to capture these moments to last forever, while a few others were trying to forget what just happened...few were busy enjoying the loneliness,while some had tears as they felt lonely...different people different definitions!!
There was this bus cleaner with us who wondered why does this crazy bunch want to climb up the mountain and stay in the open?? well for him it was a real stupid thing.. for us it was fun.. it made me wonder what we do everyday ceases to be satisfying for us... everyday we get up to have a hot mug of coffee... but the small glass of chai up the mountain tasted like heavens!! Everyday we tuck ourselves in the warmth of our bed and go to sleep with no feelings.. but the small sleeping mat with a bare minimum shawl felt so comforting...
there was also this person whom i didn't know well before.. but when i spent some time with that person..i couldn't believe such positive attitudes still existed in this world full of cynics!!Someone amongst us lost a torch and was really not happy about it,, that person just said this.."Be happy that some village folk will find it and it will be of better use to him than us!!" OMG!! What a way of looking at things!! i bet and also wish that this person will always be happy and content...
so its not what we have but what we make out of what we have that really matters!!!
